Photos that work on your profile
What to upload for your profile photo, cover image, and gallery — and the size limits for each.

Travelers decide fast, and photos do a lot of that work. Here's what you can add and what makes a photo effective.
Your profile photo
Added when you apply, this is your main headshot — the one travelers see on search cards and in their booking. Use a clear, recent photo of your face with warm lighting. Avoid group shots, sunglasses, or heavy filters where your face isn't clearly visible.
- Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF.
- Maximum file size: 2MB.
Your cover photo and gallery
Once your profile is live, open Profile and go to the Media section to add two more things:
- A cover photo — a wide, horizontal image for the top of your profile. We recommend something close to 1600×600 pixels; you'll get a built-in cropping tool to frame it correctly. Max 2MB.
- A gallery — up to 5 photos that show travelers what a tour with you actually looks like. Profiles with at least 4 gallery photos are noticeably stronger, and gallery photos are one of the factors in your profile completion score. You can drag photos to reorder them; the first photo becomes your profile's primary image.
What makes a good gallery photo
- Show the experience, not just the scenery. A photo of you mid-tour, with travelers or in a signature spot, tells a stronger story than an empty street.
- Mix it up. A few different locations, times of day, or tour types (day and night, if you offer both) give a fuller picture.
- Use natural light where you can. Bright, clear photos consistently outperform dark or blurry ones.
- Skip heavy filters and text overlays. Travelers want to see the real experience.
