Paying in your currency

Guides list their prices in the currency they get paid in, but you don't have to do the math yourself — you can browse and book in whichever currency is easiest for you.

Choosing your display currency

Look for the currency selector in the site header — it lets you switch between USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, and CAD. Once you pick one, prices across the site (including guide profiles and your booking total) show as converted amounts in that currency. If you're signed in, we remember your choice for next time.

How the conversion works

Exchange rates are refreshed daily, so the converted price you see is close to current market rates but can shift slightly day to day. The amount you're actually charged is calculated at the moment you check out, using the rate in effect then — not the rate you might have seen earlier while browsing.

What you're charged vs. what the guide is paid

You're charged in your selected currency, but that doesn't change anything for the guide: their earnings are always calculated from the tour's price and commission in the guide's own listing currency. The conversion only affects the number you see and pay — it has no effect on the 10%/20%/80% fee structure described in Understand tour pricing.

A note on small differences

Because conversion happens at checkout and rates move daily, the amount on your card statement may differ very slightly from an estimate you saw earlier while browsing. This is normal and expected with any currency conversion, not a pricing error.
