Choose a tour duration

Tours on Rainbow Tour Guides are booked in fixed blocks of time rather than open-ended. Here's how the options work.

The three duration options

Every guide can offer tours in three lengths: 4 hours, 6 hours, or 8 hours. Each length has its own price, set independently by the guide — a longer tour isn't automatically a simple multiple of the shorter one.

Why a guide might not offer all three

Guides choose which durations they want to offer. If a guide hasn't set a price for a particular length, that option simply won't be selectable on their booking form — you'll only see the lengths they've actually priced.

Picking a duration when you book

On the guide's profile, select the duration that fits your plans. The price panel updates immediately to show the base price for that length, before any group size or currency conversion is applied.

Multi-day bookings work a little differently

If you're booking several days with the same guide, you choose a duration for each day individually rather than one duration for the whole trip. See Multi-day tours for how that works.

What "Starting from" means on a profile

The headline price you see at the top of a guide's profile is their lowest priced duration, not necessarily the one you'll end up choosing. If a guide's cheapest option is their 4-hour tour, that's the number shown up top — their 6 and 8-hour prices may be higher. The exact price for the length you pick is always shown clearly once you select it on the booking form.

Meeting times depend on your duration

The times available to request depend on both the length of tour you choose and the guide's own availability that day. If a time slot isn't available for the duration you've selected, it simply won't appear as an option — try a different day, or a shorter duration, to see more choices.
