Find the right guide

Every guide on Rainbow Tour Guides is a real, local, queer-friendly host who has been through our verification process. The easiest way to find the right one is to start with where you're going, then narrow down by what you're interested in.

Start with a city

Head to Cities to see the destinations we cover, or go straight to Browse guides to browse every guide. You can search by city name, and the search box will suggest matching destinations as you type. Picking a city shows you only guides who list that city as one of the places they give tours.

Narrow down by interest

Alongside the city search, you can filter by interest or specialty (things like nightlife, art, food, or history) to surface guides who focus on what you actually want to do. You can also set your travel date and number of travelers while searching, which helps you compare guides who are likely to be a good fit before you open individual profiles.

What to look for on a guide card

Each result shows a guide's photo, name, city, starting price, and — once they've received reviews — a star rating and review count. A Verified badge means the guide has completed our full application and document review. You can read more about what that involves in How guides are verified.

Compare a few profiles before you request

Once you've shortlisted a few guides, open their full profiles to compare languages spoken, specialties, tagline, bio, and available tour durations. This is also where you'll see their meeting points and starting prices for 4, 6, and 8-hour tours. See Read a guide profile for a full walkthrough of what's on that page.

Save guides while you decide

If you're comparing a few options or planning ahead, you can save a guide to come back to later instead of booking right away. See Save guides for later.
