I am a musician, writer, and blogger. I am a lover of plants, the beach, Latin Dancing, theatre, and live music. I'm also a bit of a foodie, but like everyone, I have my limits. I love my country, but it doesn't always love people like me back. Consequently, I strongly believe that discretion is the better part of valour, when travelling the island. So, safety will always be among my top concerns. I am amicable, usually, but I also do not suffer fools. I believe a base of respect, courtesy, and clear communication, is necessary to interpersonal relations. On that subject, I speak a little Spanish, French, and Italian. However, having not really had too many opportunities to use them for quite a few years, the varying levels of fluency that I once had, are no longer what they were. I suppose that's why we have translation apps. 🙂🤷🏽
I have no idea. Generally, I am more or less laid back, but this will be my first time doing something like this. However, as I mentioned in my bio, I am pretty friendly, and enjoy meeting new people. So, I suppose my style will emerge over time. I will try to ensure that you have a safe, but enjoyable, experience.
I have been a Queer traveller, and I know personally, how exciting, but also nerve-wracking it can be. As I mentioned before, this will be my first time doing something like this, but I believe that Queer people deserve the ability to travel in peace, and to experience what joy we can, amidst all the awfulness that many of us already face. So, as much as possible, I will endeavour to be a gentle guide through what can often be a hostile environment.
